The history and development of the KITO® brand – quality products made in Germany
Introduction of the KITO® brand:
The name KITO® was first used around 1923 by the long-established Braunschweig-based company Wilke Werke for its protection systems. Even then, the company was characterised by innovation and inventiveness, as demonstrated by the development of the world’s first detonation flame arrester in 1928. This passion for innovative solutions was passed on to subsequent generations. We have been able to demonstrate our many years of experience as a specialist in explosion protection worldwide.
Sustainable product development:
Since then, our products have been continuously developed and improved together with our customers to ensure maximum safety and optimum explosion protection.
Modern production and qualified employees:
Today, KITO® produces flame arresters, valves and special devices for a wide range of customer requirements with around 80 employees in its own production facility. Just like top athletes, we are not satisfied with the average. Our aim is to provide innovative and efficient solutions in explosion protection with a consistent focus on quality, protection and safety.
Simple and precise solutions:
Despite our wide range of products, we favour simple, precise and fast solutions. With our global network of qualified sales partners, we can provide you with expert advice on site and find the right solution for your requirements.
Durability and maintenance:
Our certified maintenance partners – KITO KARE – ensure a long product service life and trouble-free operations. Alternatively, we can train your employees in the proper maintenance of our products.
